LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – To call a recent drug bust big for police is a big understatement.

Lawrence Christopher Bent, 29, was on January 29 for drug trafficking and possessing drug paraphernalia.

An arrest warrant shows authorities found 172 pounds of synthetic marijuana at an apartment in the 9500 block of Lamborne Boulevard near Valley Station on January 4.

A search warrant also turned up several rifles and shotguns, a white powdered substance, and drug paraphernalia.

Two other people were arrested at the apartment. But it’s not clear what charges they face.
